The clothes consist of relatively few pieces and that makes this pattern perfect for beginners and those of us who only have little time for sewing. Furthermore, you will need very few notions and all clothes can be made quite quickly.

Most fabrics were bought in the USA. Some clothes, like the turtle neck sweater, have to be sewn from fabric that stretches quite a lot. Beside knit fabrics, I used fleece for the orange pants and jacket. The plaid pants are made of cotton. For the cuffs I used scraps from other knit clothes. You may use special double knit fabric for the cuffs but good quality stretchy knit fabric work just as well and you will have them readily available from the other clothes.

The dolls in the photos are my personal Zapf Creations® BABY Born® dolls, 43cm.

I have designed these clothing patterns especially to fit these dolls, while they are wearing their diaper, but PLEASE NOTE that my patterns are NOT official Zapf Creations® BABY Born® doll clothing patterns. I create all patterns by hand at home and I have no affiliation in any way or with any doll manufacturer whatsoever.
